I’m Aaron — a product designer currently working on payments and crypto at OKX. Before screens, I studied architecture, and it left me with one conviction: less is more. A better experience doesn’t require excessive UI — it requires mindful thinking and the effort to push limits.

Most of my work starts the same way: a metric everyone reads one way, and a suspicion that it’s hiding something else. A 5% completion rate that looked like friction but was really a trust problem. A checkout that didn’t need more options — it needed fewer decisions. I’d rather remove a step than decorate one.

Architecture also taught me to design for what happens after handoff. Buildings get lived in; products get left running. So I care about the quiet states — what the interface says when nothing is happening, when something fails, when the user isn’t looking.
